Frozen Crimson
He stands there a straight-faced, flawlessly postured man. But inside, I know, is an injured, hardened teen who longs for affection.
He cloaks his face behind jet black tresses, shielding his eyes from unfriendly scowls.
A shadow of distaste flickers in his ocean imbibing pupils.
The crowd sees him as a spider, filthy and deserving nothing but the inner fluids of gnats.
Their hateful nonsense is ill-founded, for I see a diamond behind that rusty, iron wall, and once handed the chance, the rubble will break down and present its splendor.
I desire a day they will understand.
He clutches his sleeves in anxiety, believing no one has observed.
Fantasizing into space, that soon he will have more than one friend to lean on.
Watching the arachnid devour a fly in a savage-like fashion.
A dusky, disoriented dream dissipates as reality resurfaces.
But he has his ambitions, driving those people out of his path, for they possess opposite ideals than he.
His frigid heart barely has the strength to pump liquid through his own scarlet veins, his breath lacking smell, a scent that leaves merely snow crystals.
As the river during wintertime, only under an impenetrable case of ice does life flow.
I wish I could understand.
Pain is an accepted part of his life, puzzled by those who do not conform. Clinging to the side of society, blood flowing inside but solidified out, an icicle of frozen crimson.

I had to write a poem about someone I have strong feelings for in my Creative Writing course. It had to be someone I personally knew, but I cheated and wrote about who I wanted to. See if you guys can guess lol.
